Who We Are
Artistic Director/Playwright in Residence
Alan has been involved in professional theatre for over 50 years and is an award-winning actor and director. The former owner/artistic director of The Suspect Players in Bel Air, Maryland, Alan sold that company after 12 years upon moving to Ohio.
Alan has worked across the country in his career including New York, Baltimore, Cleveland, and Cincinnati. Having written a Christmas musical that has played to critical acclaim in Northeast Maryland as well as a dark drama and some 10 minute comedies, Alan has written over 30 murder mysteries performed at such locations as Jags Steakhouse, The Golden Lamb, Parker's, Molly Malone's and many others.
Although relatively new to the theatre industry, Stephanie was introduced to it through her association with Alan and decided to fund Alibi Players. With a background in management and marketing, it did not take long for Alibi Players to become successful under her guidance. Branching out to become a full service theatrical entity was the logical next step.
Marcha has directed, produced and/or acted in productions for numerous local theater groups. When she is not on stage or backstage, she is a loyal audience member for Cincinnati community theatre friends. Lately her work has been as a producer and a director.
She has twice received an ACT Orchid for her work as a producer. Most recently, Marcha directed the hilarious melodrama Egad! The Woman in White for The Drama Workshop. Marcha and husband Robert Eveslage often portray historical characters for Spring Grove Cemetery, where they are also docents, and for the Over-the-Rhine Brewery district.
